The Iron Builder round from the last post started off with a live build-off. The video is a couple of hours long, with lots of AFOLs chiming in and discussing, and I haven't yet watched the whole thing, but the actual build-off starts about 9 minutes in and you can see the initial two MOCs at about 20 minutes.

Think of the part of the LEGO Movie where they rebuild all of their normal vehicles - trash trucks, ice cream trucks, etc - and make them into fighting vehicles to defend against Lord Business and his micro-managers.
